Bruno Cinquantini

Born in Blera, Italy, he graduated from the University of Pisa in aircraft engineering.
He started his professional career in 1980 at the European Patent Office, where he worked 19 years in The Hague, in Munich and Vienna as an examiner and as a project manager.

He was also active in the organisation of training programmes in the field of IP. In 1999 he left the EPO and started a career as IP consultant in a private practice in Italy. From that year he worked as Industrial property senior counsel.
He is an Italian and European patent and design attorney, working mainly in mechanical and electronic fields and performing all kinds of activities related to patents and designs from conception of an invention until prosecution, licensing, litigation and exploitation of patents, for small and large Italian and foreign companies and for universities.
He organises and teaches regularly in university post-graduate courses and acts as speaker in conferences in Italy and other countries.
He worked in several projects relating to IP awareness for PME's in Italy and Europe and co-operated with the European Patent Office in various co-operation projects. He has a diploma as Counselor in working relationship. His hobbies and interests include book reading, organisation of cultural events, travelling, diving.
European Patent Institute (EPI), Italian Society of Engineers, Italian Patent Attorneys Association, Community Designs and Models Attorney, National Court Expert in the field of IP.
He is author of some publications on patents.
He speaks fluently Italian, French, English, German, Polish.
